It is a pleasure to introduce the outstanding team members that compose the essence of Switchplace.
We would like you all to meet the witty Pam Warren. Pam is our Senior Operations Manager, and her day-to-day responsibilities include: Leading the Account Executive & Management team, internal and external reporting, and upkeep of the RMCs and Platforms.
To get to know Pam better, we asked her some questions about her career experience and life interests.
What inspired you to choose your career path?
I have had the pleasure of growing up in the temporary housing industry as I began my career immediately after I graduated from Texas Tech University with my Bachelor's in Marketing. What inspires me to remain in the industry are the kind souls I have met throughout my career; I have met some of the best people. My goal as a Senior Operations Manager is to continue growing and learning.
What Is your favorite part about building long-term partnerships with clients?
My favorite part about building long-term partnerships with clients are the friendships that I have garnered throughout the years. And I very much enjoy assisting clients with their specific needs as I manage to provide thought-provoking solutions.
What words of encouragement would you like to share with young professionals currently choosing their career paths?
The advice that I would like to provide young professionals is not to give up when situations in life become challenging. Every struggle is an opportunity for growth, no matter your life stage. If you continue to be persistent, you will surprise yourself. “Perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after the other.” – Walter Elliot
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with family and embarking on home remodeling projects. My favorite hobby is spoiling my three miniature Schnauzers-Jax, Chelsea, and Bristol. But of course, I always make time to serve my community church and participate in volunteer opportunities. My other hobbies include gardening, participating in fantasy football leagues, and attending car shows with my husband.
Describe yourself in three sentences:
I can generally find good solutions to difficult requests/situations and enjoy the challenge. I enjoy working in the industry and developing friendships between coworkers, suppliers, vendors, and clients. Quick wit is my superpower.
